	'My name is Michael Findon, I went to Moseley School of Art in Birmingham in the late sixties, on leaving I was expected to take up a career in commercial art, but this held no interest for me as it did not fulfil my desire to paint. I therefore found an outlet for my creativity as an antiques dealer and latterly as a chef in my restaurant, Findons in Warwick where I am able to display and sell my work. My current interest is in painting contemporary Mediterranean urban landscapes capturing the textures, colours and way of life.'
