Born in London, England in 1962, David spent many of his childhood days drawing almost anything with just pencil and paper. His work in adult life took him to the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, where he was inspired by the spectacular coastal scenes and colourful fishing harbours. Wanting to capture these experiences, he attempted painting in watercolours and attended painting classes given by the famous West Country artist, Bob Devereux. Working for many years in watercolours since, David has moved into drawing with inks and also using the media in combinations.
His latest discovery is gouache.
